Provide the greatest impact possible by giving where it is most needed.

As the country of Rwanda continues to heal from its traumatic recent history, many rural communities struggle with debilitating poverty, where illiteracy rates remain high, and gender-based violence is threat to girls and women.
Those living in rural areas often rely on their children to help run the household and assist in earning income for the family. In these circumstances, the dropout rate and the rate of children unable to access education are high. In schools, children often do not receive adequate learning material. Adolescents experience a lack of food security, support systems, and protection from exploitation due to poverty.

Through the local church, literacy classes, coordinator training, self-help groups and parenting clubs are offered, so that both men and women are empowered to transform their families and communities. CBM is also providing educational assistance, mentorship, and financial support for vulnerable children and youth.

Funds raised will support community transformation through programming such as:
- Parenting clubs
- Self-help groups for both men and women
- Technical skills training
- Literacy education
- Coordinator training
- Scholarships and school supplies for vulnerable children
Your support will help families and children in Rwanda to break through barriers that hinder them from reaching their potential physically, emotionally, and spiritually and will empower their contribution to those around them.
